Speaking opportunities are open to non-vendor practitioners, consultants, and analysts. Limited speaking opportunities are available to exhibiting solution vendors.
To submit your presentation proposal, click the button below and complete the form.
All submissions should include a presentation title, a brief abstract of the proposed topic, and the speaker's professional bio.
Please define the target audience (i.e. CISOs, security directors, IT auditors), and the level of intended audience knowledge: Introductory or Advanced, and Technical or Non-Technical.
Please identify the specific city(ies) or virtual event in which you are interested in presenting and any date preferences or scheduling restrictions.
Submissions will be selected based upon the relevance and timeliness of the topic, the depth and organization of the abstract, and the qualifications of the speaker.
Conference sessions are divided into three time slots on the conference days. Sessions are scheduled to maximize the breadth of options available to attendees and to avoid overlapping topics.
Speakers receive a Speaker Conference Pass, which provides access to all standard sessions, keynotes, panels, complimentary lunch, and CPE credit. Additionally, speakers will receive extensive exposure in the SecureWorld conference agenda page, event microsite, and email and social media promotions. Speaking at SecureWorld creates an excellent opportunity to meet and network with fellow presenters, colleagues, and peers. Speakers are not provided a speaking fee nor reimbursed for travel costs.
If you have additional questions about the submission process, please contact our Content Strategists at info@secureworld.io.
Attendance at SecureWorld is reserved for qualified IT professionals. Registration requests may be declined at the discretion of SecureWorld prior to the conference or onsite. Professionals registered that are in a Sales / Marketing capacity are required to purchase a sponsorship to attend. View Sponsorship Opportunities.
Unfortunately, as this is a business-to-business event, we cannot accommodate student groups. However, individual students in IT and security fields are welcome to attend.
Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits are available for Conference Pass, SecureWorld PLUS, and VIP attendees. Our two-day events provide 12 CPEs with a Conference Pass, or 18 CPEs if you attend an additional PLUS course. One-day events provide 6 CPEs with a Conference Pass, or 12 CPEs if you attend an additional PLUS course (typically held the day before the conference).
At the conclusion of the conference, you will be provided a digital Certificate of Attendance (PDF) indicating the number of CPE credit hours that you have earned based on your registration type. It is your responsibility to submit the credit hours to your certifying body.
SecureWorld is dedicated to ensuring a great experience and keeping all attendees safe. We have partnered with our selected venues and feel confident that they are doing as recommended by their local health agencies and what is required by venue management staff. Such as:
• Recommending our contracted venues receive an accreditation from Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC), a division of ISSA. This is a venue accreditation program on cleaning, disinfecting, and infectious disease prevention.
• Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the events. Touchless hand sanitizer stations will be available at most venues.
• We are requesting that the venues revise how food and beverage services will be executed to minimize exposure/risk.
• All seating will be spaced with recommended distances as determined by venue management and local government.
Along with our recommendations to venue management, please know:
• SecureWorld has transitioned to a touchless conference check-in experience.
• If masks are required in the city or venue where the event is taking place, it will be required at SecureWorld. If there isn’t a mask mandate citywide or at the venue, wearing a mask then becomes optional.
• If you registered, have paid for a pass, and tested positive for COVID-19, please contact reg@secureworld.io.
Thank you for partnering with us to provide a healthy and safe environment.
Conference access is based upon the type of registration you choose. There are three types of SecureWorld registrations:
Presentation slides that we receive from speakers are uploaded to the conference microsite. However, we do not receive slides from every speaker, and distribution of presentation material is solely at the discretion of the individual speaker.
Audio or video recording of sessions is at the discretion of the individual speaker. Obtain permission if interested.
Speakers are referred and evaluated by our Advisory Council members in each market. This group is comprised of executive level security professionals from business, government, education, and law enforcement. If you have information or referrals, or know someone who would like to submit a (non-vendor) recommendation, please contact our Content Strategists, Cam Sivesind and Drew Todd, at swcontent@secureworld.io.
Parking is not included as part of the registration fee, unless otherwise noted. Parking fees are determined by each individual venue. Please refer to the venue information located on our specific event pages.
SecureWorld does not issue refunds. You may either transfer your registration to a friend or colleague, or request a registration deferral for up to one year, to be used for any of our regional events (additional charges may apply). If you have any questions, or if you have tested positive for COVID-19, please contact reg@secureworld.io for assistance.
Out of respect for your privacy, we do NOT sell our attendee database. Further, our exhibitors and sponsors only receive the contact information for the attendees whose badges they scan at their booth or session, or who interact with them via the event microsite.
The highest volume of traffic at Registration is just prior to the opening keynote on Day 1. Please allow 15-20 minutes before the first session starts. Our goal is to make check-in as quick and easy as possible. To help in this process, please use the online registration system in advance and bring a copy of your confirmation barcode for contactless check-in.
The VIP Pass includes access to the full conference agenda (excluding SecureWorld PLUS), as well as an invitation to Advisory Council functions (roundtable discussions and kick-off breakfast). If you are interested in being part of our Advisory Council and attending VIP sessions, please contact one of our event directors for assistance.
Yes, you may; however, you will only receive CPE credits for the day you attend. We do not sell one-day passes for our two-day conferences.
Our conferences are dedicated to providing a safe environment for education and networking, for everyone. Any conduct that we deem in violation of this policy will result in dismissal from the event (and future events) without a refund at the discretion of SecureWorld.
We value your participation and support of SecureWorld.
“In the nine years that I've participated on the Advisory Council, what amazes me is that SecureWorld is that local event where I get to see and catch up with almost every regional security team once a year. SecureWorld has also become one of the must-attend local conferences for myself and teams. It is an affordable conference for the whole team and provides quality content.”
