February 2, 2018, is one for the record books, as the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence released a memo on FBI surveillance after it was declassified by order of the president.
If you are hoping for tech related details of surveillance efforts, you'll be disappointed. No cybersecurity busting secrets were shared in the memo's pages.
Talking heads on cable news are going crazy with the whole thing, of course.
In the meantime, we wanted to share complete text of the Nunes memo authorizing release of the document, and the printable PDF of the FBI surveillance memo itself. That way you can do your own analysis.
It won't take you long, either. The complete document of both memos is just six pages long.
