As a keynote speaker, author, and national security expert, Tyler Cohen Wood provides unique insight into cyber threats, cyber warfare, cyber risk, and national security. Wood has worked in the private sector as a Director of Cyber Risk Management at AT&T, using her expertise to protect customers from hackers.
Previously, Wood worked at the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), where she developed highly technical cyber solutions and cybersecurity awareness training, and also made decisions on critical cyber initiatives affecting current and future DoD and intelligence community programs. Throughout her career, she has helped the White House, Department of Defense, and federal law enforcement, thwart threats to United States cybersecurity.
David Kennedy is the founder of Binary Defense and TrustedSec and is considered an industry leader in cybersecurity. Former Chief Security Officer of Diebold, David has led global cybersecurity teams, testified before Congress, and provides expert analysis on major news outlets. He co-authored the Penetration Testing Execution Standard (PTES) and played a pinnacle role in shaping the penetration testing and offensive security industry. A Marine with intelligence experience, he prioritizes family, fitness, and co-hosts "Hacking Your Health Podcast.”
Dr. Rumman Chowdhury is a data scientist and social scientist. She is the CEO of the tech nonprofit Humane Intelligence, which builds a community of practice around evaluations of AI models. Dr. Chowdhury is also Responsible AI Fellow at Harvard University’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society.
Previously, Dr. Chowdhury was the Director of the ML Ethics, Transparency, and Accountability (META) team at Twitter, as well as the Global Lead for Responsible AI at Accenture Applied Intelligence. She was named one of Time's 100 Most Influential and by Forbes as one of Five Who are Shaping AI.
Mike Britton is the CISO of Abnormal Security, where he leads the information security and privacy programs. He is integral in building and maintaining the customer trust program, performing vendor risk analysis, and protecting the workforce with proactive monitoring of the multi-cloud infrastructure. He also works closely with the Abnormal product and engineering teams to ensure platform security and serves as the voice of the customer for feature development.
He has 25 years of information security, privacy, compliance, and IT experience from multiple Fortune 500 global companies and prior to Abnormal, Mike spent six years as the CSO and Chief Privacy Officer for Alliance Data.
Dan Shiebler is the Head of Machine Learning at Abnormal, responsible for leading a team of 40+ detection and ML engineers in building the data processing and ML layers in Abnormal’s platform. Prior to Abnormal, Dan worked at Twitter, first as a staff machine learning engineer in Cortex and later as the manager of the web ads machine learning team.
Before Twitter, Dan worked as a senior data scientist at Truemotion, where he developed smartphone sensor algorithms to price car insurance. He has a Ph.D. in machine learning from the University of Oxford.
Mick Leach is Field CISO of Abnormal Security, where he is responsible for threat hunting and analysis, customer engagement, and speaking at global industry conferences and events. Previously, he led security operations organizations at Abnormal, Alliance Data, and Nationwide Insurance, and also spent more than 8 years serving in the US Army’s famed Cavalry Regiments.
A passionate information security practitioner, Mick holds 7 SANS/GIAC certifications, coupled with 20+ years of experience in the IT and security industries. When not digging through logs or discussing operational metrics, Mick can typically be found on a soccer field, coaching one of his 13 kids.
