Chris Shull is the vCISO for Salem Medical Center, vCISO and vDPO for several other organizations, and an information security and privacy consultant and advisor.

With over 35 years' experience in IT, information security, and privacy, Chris specializes in keeping InfoSec simple so businesses can understand and manage their real-world risks.

Chris has a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania and a M.A. in Operations and Information Management from the Wharton School. He holds these certifications: CISSP, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, FIP.

In his free time, Chris plays and referees soccer, practices Shotokan Karate and Jujitsu, takes square dancing lessons, volunteers on community non-profit boards, and reads science fiction, fantasy, and westerns.
