The Meltdown and Spectre CPU update fiasco seems to have settled down after some companies halted updates and Intel asked certain customers to wait for another update.
Now Intel has issued a significant Meltdown and Spectre timeline update, featuring each chipset and the status of the patch, including which patches are still in production.
There is a lot of new information and timing here, so we wanted to share the complete update with you.
By the way, we now know that Intel faces dozens of lawsuits around the CPU vulnerability, but we have not heard anything new about Intel's CEO and his major stock sale the same day the company told partners about the flaw.
